Getting Started
Get up and running with SillySwap in 3 simple steps.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- A Web3 wallet installed on your device — Rabby, Rainbow, MetaMask, or any WalletConnect-compatible wallet
- Arbitrum network — SillySwap operates exclusively on Arbitrum One (Chain ID: 42161). Your wallet will prompt you to switch if needed.
- A supported token on Arbitrum (USDC, HYPE, ETH, BTC, SOL, USDT, or any of the 15 supported tokens) - you'll need funds to deposit into Silhouette
If you're using SillySwap as an installed app (PWA), you need a Web3 wallet app on your phone — like Rabby, Rainbow, or MetaMask — to connect and sign transactions. The wallet app must support Arbitrum.
Connect Your Wallet
Click Connect in the top right corner. SillySwap supports MetaMask, WalletConnect, Coinbase Wallet, and browser extension wallets (Rabby, Rainbow, Brave Wallet, etc.).
Sign into Silhouette
After connecting, SillySwap will automatically prompt you to sign a message to authenticate with Silhouette. This creates a secure session for private swaps.
The signature request will look like:
Silhouette Auth: [timestamp]
This is a gasless signature — it doesn't cost anything and doesn't submit a transaction. Sessions expire periodically, so you'll need to re-sign roughly once per day.
Deposit Funds
Before swapping, deposit funds into your Silhouette shielded balance:
- Go to the Deposit tab
- Choose your token from the 15 supported tokens
- Enter the amount
- Confirm the transaction
Your funds are now shielded and ready for private swaps.
